Printed Guns and Sold Schematics
A downloadable short story
Originally published in the tdotspec magazine in the Strange Wars anthology, now available standalone. Featured in the Cool Zone Media book club
Under a fake name, an arms dealer goes to meet with clients she is unfamiliar with and has little respect for. The new generation of arms dealers don't have government connections, don't own fleets of planes, and don't even touch guns if they can help it. They have printers and programs, forums to obliquely advertise, and USB sticks to pass designs along. This new generation of arms dealers sell schematics instead of bullets, and in a collapsing USA, the market is better than ever.
